'Go on an Autumn Festival Trip and Receive Gifts'... Korea Tourism Organization's Stamp Tour Event

'Traveling Autumn Festival Trip 100' Stamp Tour

The Korea Tourism Organization announced on the 1st that it will hold the ‘Autumn Festival Travel 100’ stamp tour event for all citizens until December 10.

On the afternoon of the 26th, a rehearsal for the 'Suwon Hwaseong Media Art' was held around Hwaseomun Gate of Hwaseong Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province.
Now in its fourth year, the Suwon Hwaseong Media Art will continue from the 28th of this month until the 20th of next month.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of works themed around royal banquets such as Jinchan-yeon at Hwaseomun Gate, Janganmun Gate, and Jangan Park. [Image source=Yonhap News]

This event is part of the domestic tourism revitalization measures announced at the ‘Expanded Coordination Meeting of the National Tourism Strategy Conference’ held on the 25th of last month. The organization is promoting this event so that citizens can enjoy diverse domestic travels along with regional festivals that are concentrated in autumn.

The tour includes destinations such as palaces in Seoul that can be easily visited on weekends, representative cultural tourism festivals like the Suwon Hwaseong Cultural Festival and Gangneung Coffee Festival, as well as night tourism contents to enjoy cool autumn nights, such as the Incheon Open Port Cultural Heritage Night Tour and the Daegu Suseong Light Art Festival.

Anyone can participate in this event. Simply download the ‘All That Stamp’ application, sign up as a member, and select to participate in the ‘Autumn Festival Travel 100’ stamp tour. When entering within a 500m radius of the designated tourist spots, stamps are automatically acquired.

Additionally, participants who visit the festivals will be entered into a draw to receive various prizes, including mobile gift certificates.
