Introduction to Shorten Maintenance Zone Designation Period by 2 Years
Yeouido Pilot, Request for Maintenance Plan Decision Within 3 Months
Sequential Application to Apgujeong 2-5 Districts and Daechi Mido, etc.
Seoul City will introduce a 'step-by-step processing deadline system' in the Rapid Integrated Planning to accelerate the promotion of maintenance projects. It will be applied sequentially starting with the Yeouido pilot apartment, followed by Apgujeong Districts 2 to 5 and Daechi Mido, among others.
On the 1st, Seoul City announced that it will introduce a step-by-step processing deadline system for reconstruction rapid integrated planning, aiming to shorten the current approximately 2 years and 7 months required for district designation to 2 years.
The step-by-step deadlines promoted by the city are △ notification of advisory results within 1 month after rapid integrated planning consultation (city) △ implementation of resident inspection within 2 months after the first advisory result notification (district) △ request for submission to the Urban Planning Committee within 2 months after completion of rapid integrated planning (district) △ request for announcement of maintenance plan decision within 3 months after completion of Urban Planning Committee review (district).
According to the Rapid Integrated Planning processing deadline standards, Seoul City sent an official letter on the 30th of last month requesting the announcement of the maintenance plan decision for the Yeouido pilot apartment, which was approved with modifications in the maintenance plan review last October.
Accordingly, the Yeouido pilot apartment must supplement the modified approval opinion by December 30 and request the announcement of the maintenance plan decision reflecting the maintenance plan review opinions within 3 months.
Through the promotion of rapid integrated planning, Seoul City plans to sequentially apply the 'step-by-step processing deadline system' to Apgujeong Districts 2 to 5, Daechi Mido Apartments, and others, which are also approaching maintenance plan decisions, in the same way as the pilot apartment.
If the next project stage cannot be promoted within the specified deadline, the existing rapid integrated planning procedure will be canceled and converted to a general reconstruction project complex. To proceed with the reconstruction project, the maintenance project procedures must be newly followed.
Han Byung-yong, Director of the Housing Office, said, "With the introduction of the step-by-step processing deadline system in rapid integrated planning, the designation of maintenance districts through rapid integrated planning is expected to be faster," adding, "We will be able to achieve the original goal set when starting rapid integrated planning, which is to establish a maintenance plan within 2 years after the start of rapid integrated planning."
