"I'm the Best" Pocheon City Successfully Concludes the 19th Podong Youth Festival The Pocheon-dong Administrative Welfare Center in Pocheon City held the "19th Podong Youth Festival" at Pocheon Sports Park on September 28.

The Pocheon-dong Administrative Welfare Center in Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 1st that it held the '19th Podong Youth Festival' at Pocheon Sports Park on the 28th of last month.

This '19th Podong Youth Festival' was organized by the Pocheon-dong Youth Guidance Council (Chairman Kwon Bo-kyung) and sponsored by Pocheon City (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) and the Pocheon Culture and Tourism Foundation. It is a festival where young people can freely showcase their talents and skills honed through singing, dance, bands, and more.

On stage, 30 teams who passed the preliminary round competed in their skills. The grand prize was awarded to the band 'Triple T,' a joint team from four schools: Pocheon Girls' Middle School, Yeongjung Middle School, Pocheon Il High School, and Pocheon High School. The excellence awards went to Songwoo High School, Galwol Middle School, and Pocheon Elementary School in the band and dance categories.

In addition, various experiential events such as making coffee grounds keyrings, photo booths, kimbap making, and calligraphy were prepared, and the festival's freshness was enhanced by having youth serve as event hosts (MCs).

Kwon Bo-kyung, chairman of the Pocheon-dong Youth Guidance Council, said, "I would like to encourage all the young people who worked hard for the preliminary and final stages. It is gratifying to see their growth year after year," and added, "I thank all the youth who stayed until the end, and I hope to meet again next year with even better skills."

Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon said, "I deeply thank Chairman Kwon Bo-kyung of the Youth Guidance Council and the guidance committee members who worked hard to prepare the festival, as well as the young people who have honed their talents for the competition," and added, "I hope today's festival was a meaningful occasion that brought you one step closer to your dreams. Pocheon City will continue to make generous investments and support so that young people can embrace bigger dreams and move toward the future."
