Busan Culture Billboard Winter Edition Slogan Contest

October 1-25: Submit Your Own Korean Text (Up to 25 Characters) via Website, Email, or Mail... Winning Entries to Be Displayed at City Hall from December

Busan Metropolitan City is accepting submissions for the winter edition of the 'Busan Culture Billboard' to be displayed on the exterior wall of City Hall from the 1st to October 25th.

Since its launch in 2010, the 'Busan Culture Billboard' has featured inspiring phrases suggested by citizens on the exterior wall of City Hall each season, infusing the building with a cultural atmosphere and serving as an emotional communication channel with the public.

Anyone who loves Busan is eligible to participate. Submissions should be original phrases or excerpts from literary works, containing messages of hope, love, and warmth, and must be within 25 Korean characters.

Entries can be submitted through the event application section on the city's official website. Alternatively, applicants may fill out the application form attached to the posted announcement and submit it via email or mail (addressed to the Busan Culture Billboard officer, Urban Public Design Division).

When submitting an excerpt, the source must be clearly indicated.

The winning entry will be selected through a review by the Korean Writers' Association, and after a design process, will be displayed on the exterior wall of City Hall from early December.

The winner will receive a gift certificate worth 300,000 KRW, while 17 runners-up will each receive a gift certificate worth 30,000 KRW.
