Exciting Performances by Invited Singers Including Ailee, Son Taejin, and Kim Donggyu
Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) announced that it will hold the ‘2024 Picnic in Naru’ at the Forest Stage in Children’s Grand Park on October 5.
Organized by the Gwangjin Cultural Foundation, ‘Picnic in Naru’ is in its third year, having first started in 2022. The program is designed for people of all ages to enjoy together, allowing attendees to experience the atmosphere and romance of the autumn festival season.
The festival will be held for three hours starting at 5 p.m. on the 5th. The event, hosted by announcer Son Ji-hyun, will begin with a choir performance by the ‘Little Angels Arts Troupe,’ a children’s traditional arts group with a deep history and tradition. The stage will continue with top-tier artists such as ▲Son Tae-jin, a talented singer who crosses between trot and classical music ▲baritone Kim Dong-gyu, a classical singer who perfectly suits autumn ▲and Ailee, known for her explosive vocal power.
Additionally, there will be an opera performance created by conductor Lee Tae-young and the Prime Philharmonic Orchestra. The popera artist Han Areum’s performance and the clear tones of the Gwangjin-gu Youth Choir are expected to bring the romance of an October evening.
Side events will also be prepared. Outside the stage, the festival will be filled with food and fun activities such as eco-bag giveaways, tasting events, and eco-friendly campaigns.
Admission to the venue is available from 3 p.m., and there is no entrance fee. For more details, please check the Gwangjin Cultural Foundation website or contact them by phone.
Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, “To welcome autumn, we have prepared ‘Picnic in Naru,’ an outdoor music festival where everyone can come together with the spirit of going on a picnic.
