Human Technology Participates in Asia's Largest Global Defense Exhibition... "Full-Scale Defense Industry Launch"

Human Technology, a KOSDAQ-listed company, announced on the 30th that it will participate in 'KADEX 2024,' Asia's largest global defense exhibition, held at Gyeryongdae, Chungnam, from the 2nd to the 6th of this month, together with Toris Square, a leading company in drone detection solutions.

This event marks Human Technology's first official activity related to defense since its company name change. The two companies will operate a joint booth, showcasing the actual 'Elijah 2 Radar' and France's CILAS 'HELMA-P Laser Weapon System,' and will present examples of installation and operation methods for an integrated anti-drone system.

KADEX 2024 is an international defense industry exhibition hosted by the Republic of Korea Army Association. It offers a chance to see South Korea's cutting-edge weapons, as the world's fifth-largest military power, all in one place. More than 350 domestic and international companies, including major conglomerates, will participate, with a total of about 1,400 booths, making it the largest event of its kind in Asia.

In particular, since the event is held at Gyeryongdae, where the headquarters of the Republic of Korea's Army, Navy, and Air Force are located, visits from domestic and foreign military and related high-ranking officials (VIPs) are expected, drawing significant attention from the defense industry. From the 2nd to the 4th will be business days, and the remaining two days will be public days open to the general public, linked with the military culture festival and the Ground Forces Festival.

Earlier, Human Technology and Toris Square signed a strategic business agreement in March this year. Toris Square's 'Elijah 2 Radar' is an AI AESA radar system based on frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) technology developed purely with domestic technology. It has been deployed in actual service to the Army, Navy, and Air Force through the Defense Acquisition Program Administration's rapid demonstration acquisition project in 2021. Its performance in accurately detecting ultra-small drones at distances up to 13 km has been verified through multiple demonstrations.

A company representative stated, “The Elijah 2 Radar applies its own AI deep learning technology ‘GANs’ to accurately identify detected objects such as ultra-small drones, clouds, and flocks of birds, and enables real-time simultaneous detection of swarm drones. We will seek new market entry opportunities with an integrated solution based on the Elijah 2 Radar, which has superior performance compared to overseas products previously regarded as the industry's best.”
