The Mirae Asset Park Hyun-joo Foundation announced on the 30th that it held the '3rd Mirae Asset MEET-UP Project' together with overseas exchange scholarship students.
The 'Mirae Asset MEET-UP Project,' held on the 28th of this month at the Mirae Asset Center One Building, is a networking event where Mirae Asset overseas exchange scholarship students share knowledge and experiences to foster mutual growth. The theme was 'Innovation,' and about 70 overseas exchange scholarship students participated in this third event.
At the event, Professor Choi Jae-boong, Vice President of Sungkyunkwan University, gave a special lecture on 'Survival Strategies in the AI Sapiens Era.' Professor Choi presented the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) and its impact on society as a whole, as well as strategies for individuals and companies to adapt to the AI era.
Through this, the scholarship students gained valuable insights to capture new opportunities amid the changes led by AI in society. They also spent time discussing the impact of AI in their respective majors and professions, sharing various perspectives for future preparation.
Scholarship student Koo Eun-seon, who studied as an exchange student at the University of M?laga in Spain in 2023, said, “As an undergraduate majoring in artificial intelligence, I have always been interested in the theme of 'innovation.' Through this special lecture and discussion, I received various insights on developing competencies needed in the AI era, which I believe will be very helpful for my career development.”
A representative of the Mirae Asset Park Hyun-joo Foundation said, “Through this Mirae Asset MEET-UP Project, we hope that the scholarship students gain knowledge and insights suitable for the changing society and grow to the next level with a broader perspective. We plan to actively support scholarship students to strengthen their capabilities in various fields in the future.”
