Receive 13 Types of Civil Service Certificates Including Fishery Business Registration Confirmation at Your Local Community Center

13 Types Previously Issued Only by Relevant Ministries... 'Anywhere Civil Service System'
'Graduation and Transcript Certificates' from School Civil Service Also Available Online

From the 30th, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced that 13 types of civil complaint certificates, including the Fisheries Business Registration Confirmation, have been added to the 'Anywhere Civil Complaint Processing System.' The 'Anywhere Civil Complaint Processing System' is a system that allows civil complaints to be received and processed at nearby administrative agencies other than the competent agency for the convenience of civil petitioners, according to Article 14 of the Civil Complaint Processing Act and related regulations.

Until now, the 13 types of civil complaint certificates, including the Fisheries Business Registration Confirmation, could only be issued by directly visiting the competent administrative agencies (such as regional offices). As a result, vulnerable groups such as the elderly, disabled, foreigners, and civil petitioners in rural fishing villages experienced inconvenience having to visit administrative agencies located far away.

However, with this new measure, the 13 types of civil complaint certificates can now be issued at all city, county, and district offices nationwide, as well as at town, township, and neighborhood community service centers.

Although applications could be made anywhere before, nine types of school-related civil complaints, such as the 'Graduation Certificate,' which previously took a long time to be issued because they were received by fax from the education office, have been improved to be issued immediately online. When applying for 'Graduation Certificate,' 'Academic Transcript,' 'Qualification Examination Certificate,' etc., at city, county, district, or town, township, neighborhood offices, it used to take up to three hours due to processing by the education office and fax transmission, but from now on, civil petitioners can receive civil complaint certificates immediately without waiting.

Lee Yong-seok, Director of the Digital Government Innovation Office at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, stated, "With the expansion of services, we expect the convenience of vulnerable groups such as the elderly and foreigners, as well as citizens unfamiliar with the digital civil complaint environment, to be enhanced," and added, "We will continue to improve the system to provide civil complaint services that citizens need quickly and conveniently."
