About 60 Participants in 5 Sports Including Taekwondo
Dong-A University (President Lee Haewoo) held a resolution ceremony for its participation in the 105th National Sports Festival.
This year's National Sports Festival will be held in Gimhae, Gyeongsangnam-do for one week starting from the 11th of next month, with competitions for medals in 49 events.
Dong-A University will participate as representatives of Busan with about 60 athletes and coaches in five disciplines: track and field, wrestling, taekwondo, ssireum, and swimming.
At the resolution ceremony held on the 25th at Kyungdong Hall, Seunghak Campus of Dong-A University, President Lee Haewoo said, "Dong-A University has a history in the field of sports that is incomparable to any other university. I urge you to inherit the spirit of your senior athletes and compete with pride as members of Dong-A," and added, "I hope that athletes and coaches will unite as one, demonstrate the spirit of Dong-A, and do their best in every match with the spirit of fair play." He also delivered encouragement funds to the participants.
