Document Submission Deadline Until October 13
Kolon Industries FnC Division (Kolon FnC) announced on the 30th that it will conduct an open recruitment for new employees in the second half of 2024.
The 2024 second half new recruitment is characterized by shifting from a job-centered hiring approach to an ability-centered evaluation, aiming for so-called 'open recruitment.' Instead of focusing on job relevance and experience in specific roles, the emphasis will be on a comprehensive understanding of the fashion industry and trends. This is to secure highly potential talents who can demonstrate capabilities across the entire fashion industry.
Accordingly, applicants will not select a specific job when applying. Instead, they can freely express their experiences and abilities so far. The actual job placement will be decided after the recruitment process, followed by onboarding training and interviews, comprehensively considering the applicant’s capabilities.
The selection process consists of four stages: document screening, online aptitude and personality test (AI competency test), first interview, and final interview. After a health checkup, the final successful candidates will be announced. The application period is from 10:00 AM on September 30th to 11:59 PM on October 13th. Eligible applicants include graduates and prospective graduates (February 2025) of four-year universities, with no nationality restrictions. Detailed information can be found on the recruitment website.
The first interview will maintain the casual communication style previously conducted but will verify various competencies of applicants through in-depth and multifaceted evaluation methods. The 'Padlet' platform, an anonymous interactive communication channel that has shown high satisfaction among Kolon FnC applicants over the past two years, will continue to operate. Padlet functions as a kind of open chat room recruitment consultation where prospective applicants can directly ask current Kolon FnC employees and HR personnel questions they are curious about.
Han Hak-gyu, head of Kolon FnC’s HR team, said, "Kolon FnC continuously invests in recruitment branding to discover and nurture future fashion talents," adding, "Through this recruitment method, we aim to secure new employees who possess specialized knowledge and diverse experiences in fashion business and can grow into future leaders."
