Easy Meal Series for the 'Home Diningjok'

GS Retail's convenience store GS25 announced on the 30th that it will launch a ready-to-eat meal series called 'Small Dining' for 'home dining enthusiasts' who purchase alcoholic beverages and snacks together ahead of the year-end home party season.


GS25 explained that as home dining has established itself as a gourmet culture, they planned a new product lineup that allows customers to create a luxurious dining atmosphere at home easily and at a reasonable price. The name Small Dining carries the meaning of 'a small and luxurious meal enjoyed at home.'

The menu is mainly composed of Western-style dishes such as pasta, salad, and tapas, considering pairing with wine, highballs, and other drinks. The lineup was created through multiple rounds of alcohol pairing and market research by the product planner (MD) and researchers. In this process, they also collaborated with the wine25plus MD of the alcoholic beverage smart order system, which handles over 5,000 types of products.


First, on the 3rd of next month, two types of cold pasta will be released: ▲ Bolognese Fusilli Pasta ▲ Cream Fagiolini Pasta. The Bolognese Fusilli Pasta features fusilli noodles in a spiral shape, offering a chewy and springy texture. The Cream Fagiolini Pasta pairs elongated fagiolini noodles with a savory cream sauce.


On the 9th, three types of salads will be additionally introduced: ▲ Creamia Salad ▲ Freshcon Salad ▲ Bacon Potato Salad. In October, two types of tapas, well known as Spanish appetizers, will also be launched.


All products are offered in 100g small packages and can be eaten immediately without separate cooking, enhancing convenience. The price is set reasonably at 1,900 won each. Additionally, from the 3rd to the 31st of next month, a 'the more you buy, the more you save' event will be held, offering greater discounts to customers who purchase larger quantities, with prices discounted up to 35%.


Lee Min-jae, GS Retail's refrigerated MD, said, "In a situation where interest in premium dining is increasing, we launched a ready-to-eat meal series to satisfy home dining enthusiasts," adding, "We plan to provide a differentiated customer experience in all areas, including taste quality, product design, and price."
