On the 29th, at the Incheon Bears Best Cheongna (Par 72, 6,689 yards), during the 4th round of the KLPGA Tour Hana Financial Group Championship (total prize money 1.5 billion KRW), Madasom shot 11 under par to achieve a dominant victory by 9 strokes (19 under par, 269 strokes). This marks her second career win in a year since last September's OK Financial Group Uthman Open, with a winner's prize of 270 million KRW.
Madasom, a former national team member, won twice on the 2021 Dream (2nd tier) Tour. She debuted on the regular tour in 2022 and succeeded on her 53rd attempt at the OK Financial Group Uthman Open. This year, before this tournament, she had only two top-10 finishes in 23 events but demonstrated overwhelming skill to collect the winner's trophy.
Madasom started tied for the lead with Yoon Ina and Kim Suji, recording one shot eagle and nine birdies. She gained a 4-stroke lead over competitors by reducing four strokes in the first four holes, including consecutive birdies on holes 2 and 3 and an eagle on hole 4 (par 5). She secured the victory early with four consecutive birdies from holes 10 to 13 and celebrated her win by adding three more consecutive birdies from holes 16 to 18.
Yoon Ina, who was co-leader the previous day, finished second (10 under par, 278 strokes) after shooting 2 under par. Defending champion Minjee Lee (Australia) posted 4 under par to tie for third place (9 under par, 279 strokes). Park Hyunkyung and Park Bogyeom tied for fifth (8 under par, 280 strokes), while Park Jiyoung, Lee Dayeon, and Seo Eojin tied for seventh (7 under par, 281 strokes) to close the tournament.

Paris Olympic gold medalist Lydia Ko (New Zealand) delivered a clean performance with five birdies, finishing 10th (6 under par, 282 strokes). Lydia Ko said, "It was great to compete in Korea after a long time, and I was grateful for the many fans who came from the first day." She added, "There were many supporters cheering until the end today, which felt like the highlight of this week." She will briefly return to the U.S. before coming back to Korea to participate in the LPGA Tour BMW Ladies Championship, which opens on October 17 at Paju Seowon Hills Golf Club.
