Yangcheon-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Lee Gi-jae) announced on the 29th that the "2024 Yangcheon Rock Festival," held at Sinwol Baseball Stadium at 2:30 PM on the 28th, concluded successfully.
Now in its second year, the Yangcheon Rock Festival is a large-scale cultural event first introduced in Sinwol-dong. It has been praised for creating a new cultural space by combining rock performances with the aircraft noise zone, effectively relieving the accumulated stress of residents caused by noise.
On the day of the festival, top-tier domestic musicians such as Dynamic Duo, No Brain, Norazo, Geol Pak, and Boohwal captivated the audience with diverse performances.
Iconic Korean hip-hop duo Dynamic Duo, the pride of first-generation punk rock band No Brain, and Norazo, known for their powerful performances that bring joy, consecutively dominated the stage. The festival concluded with a spectacular finale by Boohwal, who led the group sound craze.
District Mayor Lee Gi-jae said, "We prepared this rock festival so that residents of Sinwol-dong could enjoy more cultural benefits and relieve stress accumulated from aircraft noise," adding, "I hope this event provided an opportunity for citizens to find happiness and enjoyment in their daily lives."
