Support for Affordable Workspaces for Social Economy Enterprises... Recruiting a Total of 3 Rooms
Selected Companies Receive Low-Cost Workspaces and Networking Support for 2 Years
Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee) supports business spaces to help social economy enterprises grow stably and become self-reliant.
The "Social Economy Coworking Space" is a residence space for social economy enterprises located in Nanhyang-dong, Gwanak-gu (78 Nangok-ro). The district especially provides facility support to strengthen the business capabilities and secure competitiveness of newly established or economically vulnerable enterprises.
The recruitment targets are social economy enterprises such as ▲(preliminary) social enterprises ▲cooperatives ▲village enterprises ▲self-support enterprises.
Selected companies can use office space at affordable rent and management fees for a two-year residency period, with the possibility of one extension if there are no disqualifications.
Currently, six companies reside in the coworking space, and the spaces available for this recruitment are three rooms: two 4-person rooms (9.2㎡, 8.4㎡) and one 2-person room (5.8㎡). Offices will be assigned comprehensively considering the applicants' submissions and evaluation results.
Companies selected for residency will not only reduce their economic burden for workspaces but also have opportunities to utilize networking among social economy organizations.
The application period is from September 30 to October 4. Detailed information can be found on the Gwanak-gu Office website. Companies wishing to move in should submit their application documents in person to the Job Venture Division of Gwanak-gu Office.
The selection of resident companies will be evaluated across various areas such as ▲employment performance ▲community contribution and connectivity ▲business performance ▲growth potential.
The final selected companies will be announced in November after review by an evaluation committee composed of experts in the social economy field.
Mayor Park Jun-hee said, “I hope the coworking space becomes a strong nest for social economy enterprises to soar higher,” and added, “We will continue to create a city of Gwanak where all communities and members can nurture hope through the revitalization of the social economy.”
