Ulsan City Holds Event for 100 Families and Over 400 Participants
Ulsan City will hold the "2024 Family Safety Experience" event at 10 a.m. on the 28th at the Children's Traffic Safety Park in Ulsan Grand Park.
This event is designed to provide children with useful safety knowledge that can be applied in daily life and to enhance a sense of safety awareness among family members.
The event is organized by the Ulsan Safety Life Practice Citizens' Coalition and targets 100 families with children aged 5 and above or elementary school students, totaling around 400 participants. The safety experience will be conducted at a total of 12 booths.
Participants can experience various types of disaster safety, including traffic safety, fire safety, maritime safety, gas safety, industrial safety, bicycle safety, and earthquake safety booths.
Practical safety rules for daily life can be learned at booths such as CPR, self-defense, fire extinguisher usage, drunk goggle experience, and eco-driving experience.
Additional events include a safety writing contest and growth hormone tests for children.
An Ulsan City official said, "We hope this event will provide an opportunity for children to learn how to protect themselves in disasters and dangerous situations, and for all family members to share awareness about safety so that practicing safety rules becomes a natural part of daily life."
