Cho Tae-yeol, Minister of Foreign Affairs, who is visiting New York, USA, stated on the 27th (local time) that our country will become a facilitator, sponsor, and leader as a member state of the United Nations.
In his keynote speech representing our government at the 79th United Nations General Assembly held in New York that day, Minister Cho said, "Korea recognizes its debt to the multilateral system and its role as an advocate of the multilateral system, and aims to become a global pivotal country."
