'Big Golden Holiday Deals' Ongoing
Discounts Mainly on Fresh Food and Edibles
Lotte Mart announced on the 29th that it will hold a discount event to celebrate the October bridge holiday.
The "Golden Holiday Big Deal" hosted by Lotte Mart is a special discount event held only during the holiday week. From the 1st to the 6th of next month, for six days, discounts will be offered on major fresh processed foods. Lotte Mart prepared this event focusing on food items such as fruits, deli, and processed foods, targeting autumn outing customers planning nearby trips during the holiday period.
First, they will offer pork belly at prices in the 1,000 KRW range. "Domestic Korean pork belly and neck (each 100g, refrigerated)" will be sold at 1,890 KRW each with a 30% discount when paid with event cards (Lotte, KB Kookmin, Shinhan, NH Nonghyup, Samsung). Lotte Mart, in collaboration with the Korea Pork Producers Association, offers these products at about 30% cheaper than the usual selling price.
"Minsok Korean Hanwoo all items (grades 1+, 1++)" and "Australian clean beef chuck eye roll (100g, refrigerated)" will be offered at a 50% discount for L.Point members. "Mountain pile green onion beef bulgogi (800g, refrigerated)" will be sold at 12,900 KRW with a 50% discount when paid with event cards.
In the seafood section, "King crab (100g, Russian origin)" will be sold at half price of 4,995 KRW with event card payment, and "Premium Patagonia salmon fillet (500g, refrigerated, Chilean origin)" will be offered to L.Point members with a 10,000 KRW discount at 19,900 KRW.
Deli foods and fruits will also be sold at discounted prices. "NEW Whole Chicken (1 pack)" will be sold at 7,794 KRW with a 40% discount when paid with event cards, and the large-sized "Half-price sushi set (30 pieces)" will be sold at 14,995 KRW. "Cheongdo persimmons (4-6 pieces, pack)" will be discounted by 2,000 KRW per pack when purchasing two or more packs, priced at 5,990 KRW per pack. "Yeongcheon Shine Muscat (1.5 kg, box)" will be sold at 12,990 KRW with a 3,000 KRW discount for L.Point members.
Additionally, buy-one-get-one-free (1+1) promotions and 50% discounts on purchasing two or more items will be offered. Thirteen types of bagged ramen and thirty types of spoonable yogurt will be sold as 1+1 deals, and popular frozen products such as "water dumplings, fried dumplings, handmade dumplings (25 types)" will be 50% off per item when purchasing two or more with event cards. For women's hygiene brand "Joheun Neukkim" and "Doruko Purewood IH frying pans (5 types)," a 50% discount will be applied when purchasing two or more.
Lotte Mart is holding the discount event because the number of customers visiting the store increases during the holiday. For large marts, sales rise as more customers enjoy nearby outings or camping during the holiday period. In fact, during the bridge holidays of Memorial Day in June (6th?9th) and Liberation Day in August (15th?18th), Lotte Mart's sales increased by 15% and 20%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
