The Seochang-dong Administrative Welfare Center in Yangsan-si, Gyeongnam held a traffic safety education and a second-half meeting on the 27th for 88 participants in the 2024 Senior Job Program.
This training, in cooperation with Yangsan Police Station's "Visiting Customized Traffic Safety Education," raised awareness about the dangers of the increasing number of traffic accidents involving seniors, the importance of refraining from habitual jaywalking, and safe walking practices through case-based audiovisual education.
After the training, a communication session was held with the participating seniors to encourage their hard work and listen to any difficulties or suggestions they had during their activities.
Min Mikyung, head of Seochang-dong, said, "I am always grateful to the seniors who work hard to keep the Seochang-dong area clean," and added, "Above all, the health and safety of our seniors is most important, so I hope you will continue to participate in your jobs safely and in good health for the remainder of the period."
