Hyundai Elevator announced on the 27th that it received space safety certification from the Korea Safety Certification Institute. This is a corporate voluntary safety evaluation system supervised by the Fire Agency and organized by the Safety Certification Institute. It certifies companies that meet or exceed the recognition standards by assessing safety levels from the design to the construction stages of the workplace.

Since January this year, the company has been evaluated on 143 detailed items across seven fields, including safety management and building disaster prevention. After relocating to the Chungju campus in 2022, it has continued investing in safety by utilizing artificial intelligence systems and drones, as well as increasing gas-based fire extinguishing equipment in sprinkler exclusion zones.

Jaecheon Cho, CEO of Hyundai Elevator, said, "We will strive to create a safe working environment to produce products of the highest quality."
