Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam is operating a Changwon Tourism Promotion Booth at the '2024 Busan International Travel Fair' held at BEXCO in Busan for three days from the 27th to the 29th.

This expo, held to revitalize the tourism industry in each region, features participation from over 200 organizations representing more than 25 countries worldwide, promoting regional tourism content and sharing a variety of information on tourism, travel, and performances.

At this expo, Changwon City plans to focus on promoting unique autumn festivals and events that can only be experienced in Changwon, making every effort to attract tourists.

Starting with the 7th Changwon Sculpture Biennale on the 27th, the city will highlight the 24th Masan Gagopa Chrysanthemum Festival, held from October 26 to November 3 under the theme 'Chrysanthemum Serenade Called by the Sea,' the anticipated autumn event '2024 Changwon K-POP World Festival,' and 'MAMF,' the nation's largest festival for cultural diversity. In addition, events such as Changwon Book Festa and Changwon Sweet Persimmon Festival will be held through November for both tourists and local residents to enjoy together.

To support this, the city plans to distribute recommended travel course leaflets that allow visitors to freely explore major tourist attractions from Masan to the downtown area of Jinhae and enjoy autumn festivals. Inside the promotion booth, a photo zone featuring lighting and chrysanthemum sculptures will be set up to showcase the Masan Gagopa Chrysanthemum Festival in advance.

In addition, a roulette event and Changwon Tourism SNS subscription souvenir giveaways will be held, and the Changwon tourism character Beojini will participate in the regional mascot show schedule, offering various entertainment options for visitors to the booth.

A city official stated, "Through the operation of our promotion booth at this expo, we hope many tourists will enjoy Changwon's vibrant autumn festivals and take home wonderful memories."
