Real-time Monitoring... Complete Block of Unauthorized Work
Establishing Gaban Infrastructure for Nationwide Field Application Next Year
DL E&C announced on the 27th that it has completed the development of an integrated smart safety control platform and plans to introduce it on-site.

This platform integrates the functions of existing safety management, work instructions, access control systems, smart safety devices, and closed-circuit (CC) TV. It allows for a comprehensive view of workers' access and work status as well as real-time location tracking, enabling real-time monitoring of various hazards on-site.
At sites where the platform is introduced, only pre-registered workers can enter after facial recognition. Attendance at the pre-work safety briefing (TBM) must be checked through individually assigned QR codes. Additionally, all workers can check their real-time location on-site via issued safety pagers. Alarms are triggered if anyone enters hazardous areas or approaches heavy equipment without prior approval. Site managers can monitor workers' access status, work locations, and details through the control dashboard, allowing for prompt safety measures in case of emergencies.
DL E&C plans to effectively control workers' site access and work zones and fundamentally block unauthorized work with a high risk of serious accidents. Since last year, DL E&C has introduced various improvements such as strengthened access control, safety education certification systems, expanded CCTV installation, and patrol systems to prevent unauthorized work without site manager approval.
The platform will be first introduced at residential sites this year after pilot operation and is scheduled to be applied to all sites nationwide next year. DL E&C is building communication infrastructure based on Wi-Fi and Internet of Things (LoRA) networks in all site zones to support the platform's implementation.
A DL E&C official said, "We revised the safety standardization guide reflecting the results of safety and health system inspections conducted with external safety experts and partners, and developed the integrated smart safety control platform to precisely implement and manage it. Moving forward, we will link and expand more diverse and sophisticated smart safety equipment to the platform to ensure thorough prevention of safety accidents."
