iMarketKorea Hosts Investment Briefing for US 'Gradient Technology Park'

iMarket Korea's U.S. branch, iMarket America (IMA), held an 'Investment Briefing for Taylor City, Texas' on the 26th at the Chosun Palace in Seoul, in collaboration with Taylor City, Texas, and the Korea Federation of Medium-Sized Enterprises.

The investment briefing was organized to introduce the business environment of Taylor City, Texas, which is emerging as a business hub, and to share the progress of iMarket Korea's industrial complex development, the first Korean-style industrial complex project being promoted by a Korean company in the United States.

About 60 representatives from approximately 30 domestic companies interested in entering the U.S. Texas market and settling in the industrial complex attended, along with Taylor City officials including Mayor Dwayne Ariola and Ben White, President of the Economic Development Corporation.

In his keynote speech, Mayor Dwayne Ariola highlighted Taylor City's potential with its abundant infrastructure and workforce, expressing expectations that attracting Korean companies capable of collaborating with global firms will complete the value chain for creating a high-tech industrial cluster.

During the industrial complex business presentation session, iMarket Korea introduced the Gradient Technology Park's occupancy environment, which offers not only plots of land and utility supplies tailored to tenant companies' desired scale but also optimal logistics fulfillment centers, shared offices, and one-stop services for resident companies.

Kim Hak-jae, Vice President of iMarket Korea, explained, "With the active entry of global companies into the North American market, partner companies are following suit," adding, "Korean companies face practical difficulties when entering the local market independently." He further stated, "Gradient Technology Park will be the solution."

Since signing an MOU with Taylor City last year, iMarket Korea has been smoothly progressing with the development of a 2.6 million pyeong (approximately 8.6 million square meters) industrial complex with full support from the State of Texas, Williamson County, and Taylor City. Last month, the comprehensive development plan for the industrial complex was approved by the Taylor City Council.
