Korea Venture Investment Volunteer Group, 'Village Park Revitalization' Volunteer Activity

Korea Venture Investment announced on the 27th that the in-house volunteer group, "'KVIC Together' 3rd generation," has launched the "Creating a Vibrant Village Park" project.

The volunteer group, consisting of about 20 employees, conducted their second volunteer activity of the year the day before. In collaboration with the Seocho-gu Volunteer Center, they improved the environment of the village park, a community space for local residents.

They especially focused on renovating the children's park. After cleaning and disinfecting, they carried out facility repairs (applying oil stain) to prevent the structures from rotting due to rainwater or warping from strong sunlight. They also attached safety footprint stickers with messages like "Run, run, beep beep! Look carefully before crossing!" that children can easily recognize on the ground and other areas to help prevent accidents. Additionally, they conducted tree planting work to maintain the ecosystem.

At the end of the year, they plan to create and deliver Christmas gift kits so that children facing economic difficulties can have a warm winter. Furthermore, leveraging the institution’s expertise, they are planning "Venture Finance Education for University Students." Korea Venture Investment employees will directly share the structure and current status of the venture investment industry with university students interested in venture investment and the startup ecosystem.

A Korea Venture Investment official stated, “We will continue to carry out social contribution activities in the local community and strive to create a better society by coexisting with the community.”
