Park Seok-won President "Establishing an Innovative OT Security Management System"
Doosan Digital Innovation (DDI) is set to actively expand its operational technology (OT) security business.
DDI announced on the 26th that it will apply OT security solutions to more than 30 domestic and overseas manufacturing plants of the Doosan Group by 2025.
OT security is designed to protect critical production infrastructure, data, and manufacturing processes from external cyber threats. If a threat occurs to key equipment, it can be isolated from the network to ensure stable factory operations.
Based on the international standard IEC 62443, DDI supplies solutions including physical separation between OT and information technology (IT) networks, remote access control, and integrated monitoring systems. It is advancing OT security to quickly detect, analyze, and respond to threats within factories, minimizing impacts such as downtime and production delays.
As core production equipment becomes connected to the internet through digital transformation in manufacturing environments, increasing the risk of security incidents, DDI plans to focus on establishing standards for OT network infrastructure.
Park Seok-won, President of DDI, stated, "We will continue to establish a flexible and innovative OT security management system amid changing industrial environments and present new global standards for OT security."
