Star SM Self-Management Real Estate Investment Company (hereinafter Star SM REIT) announced on the 26th that it has completed the introduction of KT's 'Hi-Order' in all rooms (258 rooms) of MD Hotel Doksan Branch and held an opening ceremony.
The KT Hi-Order opening ceremony held the day before at MD Hotel Doksan Branch was attended by executives and employees of Star SM REIT and KT Gangnam Metropolitan Headquarters, who conducted the opening ceremony.
KT Hi-Order, a table order service, features easy ordering and payment for room service such as food within the room. Various amenities such as water and towels can also be ordered in real-time 24 hours a day.
The company explained that the implementation of Hi-Order, promoted in line with the contactless culture, is expected to improve service quality by enhancing accommodation convenience.
In addition, Hi-Order supports multiple languages, which is expected to help improve accessibility for foreign guests. The introduction of Hi-Order is part of follow-up measures after the recent business agreement with KT.
In July, Star SM REIT and KT signed a business agreement to cooperate in various business areas including AICT (AI+ICT) solution business within hotels, data centers, modular housing, and resorts.
Going forward, Star SM REIT plans to continuously expand digital concierge services within its subsidiary MD Hotel by additionally introducing room service delivery robots.
