Samsung Electronics' all-in-one robot vacuum cleaner with a mop function, 'Bespoke AI Steam,' released this year, is receiving favorable reviews in Europe.
According to industry sources on the 26th, the UK electronics review magazine Trusted Reviews described the Bespoke AI Steam as a "3-in-1 product with cleaning, mopping, and sterilization functions," and praised it as "a product that improves the usability of typical robot vacuums that fail to adapt to mixed environments of hardwood floors and carpets."
The Bespoke AI Steam automatically distinguishes between hardwood floors and carpets using five sensors to clean in the optimal state. If the carpet pile length is 5mm or less, it lifts the attached mop by 10mm; if longer than 5mm, it returns to the steam cleaning station to detach the mop and then resumes cleaning, preventing carpet staining caused by wet mops.

Trusted Reviews also praised the feature that recognizes floor stains autonomously and repeatedly mops areas requiring focused cleaning. Testing its cleaning power by spilling coffee, wine, and ketchup on the floor, they noted, "Even baked-on ketchup was noticeably reduced after two moppings and removed after three," adding, "The AI’s ability to detect stains well and concentrate cleaning on contaminated areas is impressive."
Additionally, they highlighted advantages such as ▲object avoidance capability ▲powerful suction ▲automatic dustbin emptying ▲automatic mop washing, calling it "one of the best high-end robot vacuums evaluated so far."
Other highly rated features included the anti-tangle brush design that prevents long hair from getting caught, a generously sized 2.5ℓ dust bag, and the SmartThings app-based function that allows users to easily designate cleaning zones or no-go areas.
The UK daily newspaper The Telegraph selected the Bespoke AI Steam, equipped with steam sterilization, as the "Best Wet and Dry Robot Vacuum Cleaner of 2024," awarding it a score of 9 out of 10. They praised its hygienic mop management through steam sterilization and hot air drying, emphasizing the convenience of autonomous cleaning with minimal user intervention.
In particular, they commended AI-based cleaning features such as "focused cleaning of contaminated areas," which recognizes floor stains and heats the mop with steam for an additional cleaning pass; "powerful mop cleaning performance" with 170 rotations per minute; and "no-entry zone settings."
The Telegraph also mentioned the Bespoke AI Steam’s "Pet Care" function, positively evaluating that "in addition to excellent cleaning performance, it provides various pet care features such as sending notifications via the SmartThings app if abnormal pet behavior is detected during absence and remotely playing music."
