The 35th 'Gyeonggi-do Sports for All Festival' will be held in Seongnam City from the 27th to the 29th.


This event will feature a delegation of 20,701 participants from 31 cities and counties within the province (17,443 athletes and 3,258 officials) competing in 26 sports including soccer, badminton, and tennis. The competition will be divided into Division 1 for the top 15 cities and counties based on population, and Division 2 for the remaining 16 cities and counties.


All matches in each sport of this festival, which involves amateur athletes, are free for anyone to watch.


A Gyeonggi-do official stated, "We will ensure that residents have more and diverse opportunities for sports activities by continuously supporting the Sports for All Festival and securing infrastructure such as expanding sports facilities."


Meanwhile, Gyeonggi-do plans to expand key projects led by Governor Kim Dong-yeon, including opportunity competition viewing tickets and income support for athletes.
