Grand Prize for Overcoming Gastritis... Korean Medicine Promotion Contest Grand Prize Goes to Webtoon "Me, and Korean Medicine"

A Total of Seven Works Selected
in Two Categories: Video and Webtoon (Instagram Toon)

The National Institute for Korean Medicine Development held the 5th Korean Medicine Promotion Content Contest award ceremony on September 24.

Grand Prize for Overcoming Gastritis... Korean Medicine Promotion Contest Grand Prize Goes to Webtoon "Me, and Korean Medicine" They are taking a group commemorative photo after the award ceremony of the Korean Medicine Promotion Content Contest.

A total of seven works were selected through expert evaluation. The grand prize (Minister of Health and Welfare Award) went to Cheolmin Ko for his webtoon, "Me, and Korean Medicine."


In the webtoon (Instagram toon) category, the following awards were given: one grand prize (Minister of Health and Welfare Award, 3 million won), one top excellence award (President of the National Institute for Korean Medicine Development Award, 1 million won), and two excellence awards (500,000 won each). In the video category, one top excellence award (President of the National Institute for Korean Medicine Development Award, 3 million won) and two excellence awards (1 million won each) were selected.


Cheolmin Ko, who won the grand prize, said, "I struggled for years with unexplained stress-induced gastritis, but after receiving Korean medicine treatment, I improved significantly. I wanted to reflect my real experience in my work. I hope my work helps dispel prejudice against Korean medicine among the public and serves as an opportunity to enhance understanding and interest in Korean medicine."


Shin Jesu, Acting President of the National Institute for Korean Medicine Development, said, "I would like to thank all participants for submitting outstanding works that showcase the appeal of Korean medicine. We will continue to carry out various initiatives so that Korean medicine can become even more familiar to the public."


The winning works will be released through the National Institute for Korean Medicine Development website and social media channels, and will be widely used as promotional materials for Korean medicine.
