Cast Restaurant Map and Reservation Service Released
As the Netflix cooking competition show "Heukbaek Yori-sa: Yori Gyegup Jeonjaeng" (Heukbaek Yori-sa) gains attention, interest in the actual restaurants operated by the participating chefs is also growing. In this context, Naver has released a page listing the restaurants run by the chefs appearing on the show.
Naver Maps recently launched a page containing a list of restaurants run by the chefs featured on "Heukbaek Yori-sa." This list can be shared on various social networking services (SNS) such as Instagram.
The list comprehensively includes restaurants of well-known so-called "Baeksojeo" chefs like Choi Hyun-seok, Choi Kang-rok, and Yeo Kyung-rae, as well as those of "Heuksojeo" chefs who had to compete under nicknames rather than their real names, such as "Cheolgabang Yori-sa," "Jangsacheonjae Josajang," and "Bibim Daewang." The total reaches an impressive 104 locations. Additionally, 23 restaurants that can be reserved through the Naver Maps application (app) are introduced separately.

This list was implemented using the "Save Tab" feature of Naver Maps. The Save Tab allows users to organize and save places of interest in a list at once, and it can be grouped by business type such as restaurants, cafes, accommodations, and tourist attractions.
The list feature has already been actively created and shared among map users. Examples include lists of famous local eateries, influencer-recommended restaurants, and places frequently visited by celebrities.
Meanwhile, as "Heukbaek Yori-sa" continues its surge in popularity and interest in the cast grows, Naver appears to have created the list directly to attract users to its map service by leveraging the show's success.
"Heukbaek Yori-sa" is a Netflix variety program that released its first episode on the 17th. The premise centers on 100 chefs competing for the title of top chef.
What differentiates it from existing cooking competition programs is the division between "Baeksojeo" chefs and "Heuksojeo" chefs. Famous chefs who have proven their skills through various competitions and media appearances take the role of Baeksojeo, while business owners who pride themselves on excellent taste but remain relatively unknown are classified as Heuksojeo.
The judges include Baek Jong-won, CEO of The Born Korea, and Chef Ahn Sung-jae, the only Michelin 3-star chef in Korea. According to data from "FlixPatrol," an online video service (OTT) viewing ranking site, "Heukbaek Yori-sa" has ranked number one domestically since its release on the 17th and is ranked ninth worldwide.
On Naver Open Talk, the number of viewers sharing reviews after watching "Heukbaek Yori-sa" is increasing, and the cumulative number of visits to the channel reportedly reached about 510,000 within a week of its launch.
