The U.S. prices for the mid-range premium budget phone ‘Galaxy S24 FE (Fan Edition)’, set to be released within the year, have been leaked. The price has increased compared to its predecessor, suggesting that the launch price in Korea is also likely to rise.

According to IT media SamMobile on the 24th (local time), the leaked price for the Galaxy S24 FE 128GB model is $649.99 (approximately 863,440 KRW), and the 256GB model is $709.99 (approximately 943,150 KRW). This product is scheduled to be released within the year on Samsung Electronics’ official U.S. website.

The page is currently deleted. SamMobile predicted that it will be sold to U.S. consumers in October. The FE model is known as a mid-range premium budget phone because it lowers the specifications compared to the premium Galaxy S series, making it more affordable than the S series.

Compared to the Galaxy S24 base model (256GB) released in February, which had a U.S. launch price of $859 (approximately 1,141,780 KRW), it is more than $100 (132,920 KRW) cheaper, but slightly higher than the previous model. The predecessor, Galaxy S23 FE, was priced at $629.99 (837,445 KRW) for 128GB and $689.99 (917,203 KRW) for 256GB in the U.S.

Since prices in Korea are set similarly to those in the U.S., the domestic launch price is also likely to increase. The Galaxy S23 FE was released in Korea last December at 847,000 KRW (256GB).

According to a well-known IT tipster, the Galaxy S24 FE is equipped with a 50MP main wide-angle camera, a 10MP single front camera, a 4700mAh battery, a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a maximum brightness of 1900 nits, and an Exynos 2400e processor. The colors available are Blue, Graphite, Gray, and Mint Yellow, and it is expected to feature Samsung’s artificial intelligence (AI).

Apple is also preparing to launch the budget iPhone SE4 next year. IT media PhoneArena reported that the new SE series will support Apple Intelligence and is expected to adopt the iPhone 14 design. However, they mentioned that there may be a price increase.
