KB Asset Management 'RISE Pension Seminar'... Systematic Pension Education Opportunity

KB Asset Management announced on the 25th that it successfully concluded the 'Healthy Pension Investment Start, RISE Pension Seminar.'

As the first step of the ‘RISE ETF’ to support the public's healthy pension investments, the seminar was held on the 24th at the Fairmont Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul. It was planned with the goal of providing systematic pension education to individual investors.

The seminar proceeded in the order of ▲CEO’s greeting ▲lecture on ‘Receiving 5 Million KRW Monthly Pension Rent through ETF Asset Allocation’ ▲lecture on ‘Creating Your Own Pension Investment Plan’ ▲lucky draw event.

It was evaluated as a highly beneficial session, as it included explanations based on actual cases as well as topics investors are usually curious about, such as the advantages of pensions and effective asset allocation methods.

Kim Young-sung, CEO of KB Asset Management, said in his congratulatory speech, "KB Asset Management has consistently held seminars for institutional investors, but this is the first offline seminar for individual investors," adding, "We aim to create a communication platform with investors and provide opportunities for asset growth."

The first lecture following the congratulatory speech was delivered by Kim Sung-il, director of the Uprise Investment Advisory Pension Research Institute and author of ‘Magic Pension Management.’ Under the theme ‘Receiving 5 Million KRW Monthly Pension Rent through ETF Asset Allocation,’ he explained ETF pension asset allocation strategies, how to set up a second salary using distributions, and pension-related tax issues.

Next, YouTuber Seo Daeri, who runs the pension investment specialized YouTube channel ‘Seodaeri TV,’ gave a lecture on ‘Creating Your Own Pension Investment Plan.’ He shared advice based on his own experience regarding cash flow design after retirement using ETFs and how to select ETFs suitable for pension investments. Seo Daeri has authored books related to pension investment, including ‘For Those Who Find Saving Frustrating but Investing Scary.’

In July, KB Asset Management renewed its ETF brand as ‘RISE’ and declared its commitment to helping individual investors make healthier pension investments. Recently, with the intention of continuously providing ETF investment education, it published a Japanese investment guidebook.
