"Cheongjeong Su-so Expansion" Aprotium Introduces Technology at Exhibition

Approtium, a domestic commercial hydrogen production and sales company, will participate in H2MEET, the largest hydrogen specialized exhibition in Korea, held at KINTEX in Goyang City for three days starting from the 25th. The exhibition will be organized around themes such as clean hydrogen production and distribution, as well as carbon capture and utilization.

Using digital media and experiential content, visitors can observe the hydrogen manufacturing, carbon capture, and liquefaction processes. They can also explore the ongoing projects and the value chain of clean hydrogen businesses. The exhibition will introduce the Ulsan Plant No. 5, a liquefied carbon dioxide factory completed in May this year, as well as the current status of the carbon capture and utilization demonstration project utilizing the Donghae gas field led by the government, plans for carbon dioxide utilization, and clean hydrogen power generation business plans.

The company signed a business agreement with a Danish firm as a partner for ammonia cracking technology to promote the distribution and expansion of clean hydrogen. The company stated, "We have completed the basic design and investment cost estimation necessary for establishing domestic ammonia cracking facilities," and added, "We are ready to negotiate supply to places that require clean hydrogen."

Approtium, established in 1964, is a hydrogen and carbon dioxide specialized company with factories in Ulsan and Seosan. It supplies 100,000 tons annually to industrial demand sectors such as refining, petrochemicals, and semiconductors. CEO Won Gi-don said, "Based on our core competencies in SMR operation and maintenance technology, quality control know-how, customer infrastructure and trust relationships built over 60 years, and hydrogen transportation capabilities, we have established a clean hydrogen business network."
