Volvik Condor S3·S4, Premium Urethane Balls

Volvik's Condor S3 and S4 golf balls are gaining popularity. They are premium urethane golf balls, the first domestic brand to be entirely developed and produced with 100% in-house technology. Kim Hong-taek, a dominant figure in screen golf, demonstrated the performance of the Condor golf balls at the 43rd GS Caltex Maekyung Open, a major tournament on the Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) Tour, held last May. In the tournament's 4th round at Namseoul Country Club (par 71) in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, he added 2 under par to tie with Chonlatit Chuenbunngam (Thailand) at 10 under par 274 strokes, then clinched the victory with a winning par on the first hole of the playoff at the 18th hole (par 4). This marked his second career win after more than seven years since the Dynamic Busan Open hosted by the Dong-A Membership Group in August 2017, with a prize of 300 million KRW.

Volvik has upgraded the product used by Kim Hong-taek during his victory. Compared to the previous model, it offers a softer hitting feel, allowing various amateur golfers to experience optimized performance suited to their swing speeds.

Volvik's patented technology, the ‘L.R.T Urethane Cover,’ has been applied. Using a polyurethane cross-linking method, the low-hardness soft urethane cover delivers a soft hitting feel and powerful spin control. The dimple structure features a 322 double flat design. Compared to previous products, this new double flat design covers 82.45% of the surface area. It reduces internal turbulence, enhancing flight stability.

The core and mantle incorporate the white carbon new material technology, which is key to Condor's distance. White carbon, a polymer also used in F1 racing tires, improves the bonding strength between layers. It delivers high-density elastic energy, resulting in explosive distance.

The ‘DL 360’ series, featuring a 360-degree dual line applied to the Condor S3 and S4, was also released simultaneously. The 360DL line helps with putting alignment based on the remaining distance for both long and short putts, increasing success rates. The DL line comes in four colors per piece, offering golfers a variety of choices.
