The Brain rice cooker previously won the main prize at the ‘iF Design Awards’ in March and the ‘Red Dot Design Awards’ in April. The IDEA Design Award is Cuchen’s first win, completing the sweep of the world’s top three design awards.

Organized by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), the IDEA Design Awards are the most influential design awards in North America and, along with Germany’s ‘iF Design Awards’ and ‘Red Dot Design Awards,’ are considered the world’s top three design awards. Each year, they comprehensively evaluate design innovation, user experience, aesthetics, and social contribution to select outstandingly designed products.

Earlier, the Brain rice cooker also won main prizes at the ‘2023 Good Design Awards’ and the ‘2023 Pinup Design Awards,’ sweeping domestic design awards.

The Brain rice cooker embodies the philosophy that ‘nature is the most beautiful art’ in its design. Its exterior, inspired by pebbles, harmonizes gracefully with various spaces. The colors applied are white and beige tones reminiscent of grains such as oatmeal and barley.

A representative from Cuchen’s design office said, “It is a great honor that our first IDEA Design Award win at Cuchen has led to a grand slam by sweeping the world’s top three design awards. We will continue to enhance customer satisfaction by adding design to excellent functionality to create highly complete products.”
