Conveying Integrity Values through Sand Art and Pansori... Learning Integrity Laws through Real Cases
Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Ilpyeong Lee) announced on the 25th that on the 24th, it conducted a ‘Cheongnyeom LIVE’ training session aimed at enhancing understanding of integrity administration for over 500 employees of the district office and Dongdaemun-gu Facilities Management Corporation at the district office auditorium.
Hosted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission Integrity Training Institute, ‘Cheongnyeom LIVE’ provided an opportunity to reflect on integrity through a ‘sand art performance’ and a ‘Cheongnyeom Pansori performance,’ featuring award-winning content from the integrity content contest.
During the sand art performance, Mayor Ilpyeong Lee of Dongdaemun-gu took the stage and inscribed “Open Dongdaemun with Integrity!” in the sand, expressing his commitment to practicing integrity administration.
In the following special lecture, essential laws and codes that public officials must adhere to?such as the ▲Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, ▲Conflict of Interest Prevention Act, and ▲Code of Conduct for Public Officials?were explained in an easy-to-understand manner through real-life cases.
Mayor Ilpyeong Lee of Dongdaemun-gu stated, “This was a valuable time to enhance employees’ understanding of integrity administration through a new style of education,” adding, “We will create a trustworthy Dongdaemun-gu for residents by fostering an organizational culture of integrity based on communication and empathy.”
