Next Month on the 6th... Folktale Creation Program for 5th-6th Grade Elementary Students... Boosting Creativity 'Ssoogssoog'

Goyang City Madu Library Operates 'The Returned Children's Folklore School' 'The Returned Children's Folklore School: Danbi and the Snowman' Promotional Text.

Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) Madudoseogwan Library announced on the 25th that it will operate the local culture children's program 'The Returned Children's Folklore School: Danbi and the Snowman' on October 6.

This program is a storytelling game called TRPG (Table Talking Role-Playing Game), where participants create their own characters within the world of 'Folklore School' and engage in activities to create their own folklore stories.

The program aims to foster creativity and interest in old tales by composing 'our own stories' through the activities.

This program is conducted in collaboration with Dotori Dungji, a professional team specializing in TRPG library programs. This time, it will focus on a new folklore story called 'Danbi and the Snowman.' Participants will use student characters they created within the Folklore School world, along with yut sticks and tokens, to create new stories through game activities.

The program is for 16 elementary school students in grades 5 to 6 and will be held on October 6 from 2 PM to 5 PM in the Madudoseogwan Library lecture room. Applications for participation can be made through the Goyang City Library Center website.

For any questions related to the program, please contact Madudoseogwan Library.
