Goyang Special City in Gyeonggi announced on the 25th that it will hold a drawing exhibition titled "Tilted Vision" by German documentary director Heinz Emigholz at the art creation space Ha-eum from the 26th to October 2nd.

This exhibition is a collaborative event co-hosted by the 16th DMZ International Documentary Film Festival and Ha-eum, planned to highlight the diverse artistic talents of director Emigholz. In particular, the exhibition introduces the director's unique visual language to the public by showcasing the hundreds of drawings from the series "Basics of Makeup," which the director has been creating since 1974.

Ha-eum is unusually hosting an exhibition by a film director rather than a visual artist. Through the exhibition "Tilted Vision," which rejects classification, order, and rational-centered appreciation and equally designs the relationship between images and the audience, it aims to provide each viewer with a time to experience director Emigholz's unconsciousness in a novel way.

An exhibition official stated, "Through this exhibition, we hope that audiences, borrowing director Emigholz's artistic perspective, will apply attempts to break free from conventionally fixed thinking to their daily lives."

During the exhibition period, Ha-eum will offer guided tours at 2 PM and 4 PM daily to assist visitors in appreciating the exhibition. On the 28th, a special event featuring a talk and live drawing session with the director will also be held.
