Cooperation in Future Cars, Hydrogen, and Corporate Support
On the 24th, Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 25th that it signed a business agreement with KOTITI Testing & Research Institute (KOTITI) at the city hall's comprehensive situation room to foster future industries.

According to the agreement, the two organizations will cooperate on ▲discovering projects to establish a future automobile foundation ▲building a clean hydrogen testing and evaluation center ▲developing standards and supporting operations for testing, inspection, and certification in the clean hydrogen sector ▲supporting companies in obtaining domestic and international certification standards. The agreement also includes a commitment to jointly operate educational programs if the city succeeds in attracting a science high school to southern Gyeonggi.
KOTITI Testing & Research Institute, established in 1961 as the first textile testing research institution in Korea, provides specialized services such as research and development, testing and analysis, quality inspection, education and training, and consulting for consumer goods. It is a participating organization in Pyeongtaek City's clean hydrogen demonstration project and established the 'E-Mobility Center' in Pyeongtaek last December.
Jung Jang-seon, mayor of Pyeongtaek City, said, "Carbon neutrality is no longer an option but a necessity," adding, "Through this agreement, we will strengthen global competitiveness in future automobiles such as eco-friendly vehicles and the clean hydrogen sector and lead sustainable development." Lee Sang-rak, director of KOTITI, responded, "By establishing an organic cooperative relationship with Pyeongtaek City, we will play a pivotal role in the development of future industries such as hydrogen and future automobiles."
