Pasoo and MegazoneCloud Collaborate to Jointly Develop DSPM Solution

Fasoo, an AI and data security specialist company, is partnering with cloud leader Megazone Cloud to jointly develop a cloud data management solution. The two companies plan to launch a DSPM (Data Security Posture Management) solution, which is gaining attention as a core element of data management, within this year. The goal is to support customers in using the cloud safely and conveniently.

Having signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) for an integrated security solution partnership last July, the two companies have started their first project to jointly develop the DSPM solution. DSPM, recently recognized as a critical task in enterprise data management, is a security strategy designed to protect and manage data securely regardless of storage location in multi- or hybrid-cloud environments. It is essential for managing sensitive information such as personal data and for compliance, including data identification and classification, importance and risk assessment, prioritization, and continuous monitoring.

The DSPM is being developed based on Fasoo’s data identification and classification solution, 'Fasoo Data Radar (FDR)'. Fasoo Data Radar is a solution that identifies the status of data across all storage and automatically classifies it. It can detect sensitive information such as personal data in real time and encrypt, classify, isolate it, or revoke access and destroy it after a certain period.

The DSPM solution from both companies, capable of identifying data status and detecting sensitive information across various clouds, will also be offered as part of Megazone Cloud’s CNAPP (Cloud Native Application Protection Platform). It is expected that domestic and international customers will be able to easily enhance cloud security. Especially with the expansion of government cloud transition projects and the easing of network separation regulations in the financial sector, protecting personal information within the cloud is becoming increasingly important, and this solution is being developed as the optimal response.
