Appointed as 'Seoul Universal Tourism Ambassador'
Actress Cheon Woo-hee contributes to creating a convenient tourism environment in Seoul. She was recently appointed as the 'Seoul Universal Tourism Ambassador' by the Seoul Tourism Foundation. Universal tourism refers to a tourism environment that is easy to experience for people with disabilities, the elderly, pregnant women, and infants.
Cheon will participate in various promotional campaigns promoted by the foundation for one year. She will help build what is called the 'Universal Tourism City Seoul.'
She said, "While playing Miso, a visually impaired person, in the 2017 film 'One Day,' I became interested in improving awareness of disabilities," and added, "I will support the foundation's first steps to make Seoul a joyful and convenient city for everyone."
Marking her 20th anniversary since debut this year, Cheon recently gained great popularity through JTBC's 'Not a Hero, But...' and Netflix's 'The Eight Show.' She is currently filming the drama 'My Youth (working title).'
