In 2024, Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters selected 10 households in need, including basic livelihood security recipients, low-income families, and elderly people living alone in five towns and villages within Gijang-gun, to support repairs and renovations of deteriorated housing environments, such as roof repairs, window and light fixture replacements.

As part of this support, on the 23rd, Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters conducted the '2024 House Repair of Love' volunteer activity in Gilcheon Village, Jangan-eup, Gijang-gun.

Kori Volunteer Corps, consisting of Jeong Jaerak, Head of External Cooperation at Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters, and employees of the headquarters, visited the selected households to replace insect screens and sinks, upgrade old electrical installations, and thoroughly repair every corner of the houses.

The annual House Repair of Love project by Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters is part of the regional welfare support program by Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power, and also contributes to job creation through the Gijang Regional Self-Sufficiency Center.

The Gijang Regional Self-Sufficiency Center is a specialized institution supporting the self-reliance and independence of low-income residents, with about 120 people participating in 15 self-sufficiency work groups.

Jeong Jaerak, Head of External Cooperation at Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, "We hope that the house repair support project will help improve the living conditions of neighbors in need," and added, "Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters will spare no effort in supporting the improvement of housing welfare for vulnerable groups in welfare blind spots."
