From Strengthening Employment Competencies to Supporting Self-Development... Systematic Development of Top Talent
The Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service (President Park Jonggil) has been selected as an excellent institution reflecting government policies in the ‘2024 Public Sector Human Resources Development Excellent Institution Certification’ evaluation conducted by the Ministry of Education, and received a commendation from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education.

Since 2006, the Ministry of Education has implemented the ‘Best HRD’ program to establish exemplary standards for national human resources development and management, and to promote investment and competitiveness in human resources development. This year, the Service was the only institution newly selected as an ‘excellent institution reflecting government policies’.
The Service received high marks for its efforts to promote balanced regional development by hiring 68% of its new recruits in 2023 from local talent, expanding regional talent recruitment, providing employment information to high school graduates, supporting tuition for degree programs, supporting self-development through flexible working hours, establishing a system for nurturing high school graduate talent, and contributing to a healthy organizational culture through the introduction of an in-house coaching system.
President Park Jonggil stated, “I believe we have achieved great results by newly establishing our talent philosophy and focusing on talent development to fulfill our mission of realizing happiness for working people. We will continue to make steady efforts to fulfill our social responsibilities as a public institution.”
