Kumho Construction, which won the Asia Economic Representative Award in the brand category of this year’s Asia Construction Comprehensive Awards, took the lead in creating an advanced residential culture by launching its new residential brand ‘Artera’ in May. Artera is a compound word of ‘ART’, ‘TERRA’, and ‘ERA’, meaning to make a home not just a simple living space but ‘art on the land.’ It reflects Kumho Construction’s philosophy of presenting spaces where nature, people, and space harmonize and bring leisure to everyday life.

‘Goyang Janghang Artera’ holds symbolic significance as the first complex in the metropolitan area to apply the Artera brand. Located in B-3 block of Janghang District, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do (529-26 Janghang-dong), this complex will be developed with 8 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to 29 above-ground floors, totaling 760 households. All units are composed of the highly preferred exclusive area of 84㎡. Completion is scheduled for May 2027.

In line with its symbolic status as the first Artera complex in the metropolitan area, differentiated design was applied. All units are mainly arranged facing south to maximize lighting and ventilation efficiency. Various landscaping elements were also introduced within the complex. A ‘park-type apartment’ with no cars on the ground level was realized to enhance residential comfort.

It is also equipped with excellent living infrastructure. Movement to adjacent areas is easy through Hallyu World, which is adjacent to the complex, and convenient access to Janghang IC and Hallyu World IC is possible via nearby Jayuro and 2nd Jayuro roads. Madu Station on Subway Line 3 is located 6 minutes away by car, and the Kintex Station (tentative name) on the metropolitan area’s Great Train Express (GTX)-A line is also about to open nearby. Additionally, shopping and cultural facilities such as Lotte Department Store Ilsan Branch, Hyundai Department Store Kintex Branch, Kintex, Lafesta, and One Mount, as well as Trader’s Home Sale Club, Costco Ilsan Branch, and Inje University Ilsan Paik Hospital, are conveniently accessible. Ilsan Lake Park and the Han River are also nearby, and school sites including Janghang Elementary School, scheduled to open this month, kindergartens, and middle and high schools are within walking distance. Baekma Academy District and Kintex Academy District are also close by.

Large-scale development is underway around the complex. On approximately 870,000㎡ of land in Daehwa-dong and Beopgot-dong, Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang-si, the ‘Goyang Ilsan Technovalley’ (with a total project cost of about 850 billion KRW) is being established to attract innovative companies in the fields of bio-medical, media content, and advanced manufacturing.
