Promotion of Development for 'Hwaseong-type Integrated Care Model'
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 24th that it held an interim report meeting for the research project on 'Development of Hwaseong-type Integrated Care Model' at the Modunurim Center on the 23rd.
This research project is being conducted to establish a plan for promoting integrated care suitable for local conditions, following the enactment of the 'Medical and Nursing Care Regional Care Integrated Support Act' in March, which will be expanded nationwide in March 2026.

Through this research, the city plans to establish care service measures to meet the needs of welfare recipients in response to the rapidly increasing care demand due to low birth rates, aging population, and weakening of traditional family care functions.
The interim report meeting was attended by nine public officials from the city's Welfare Bureau, Dongtan Health Center's Health Administration Division, and others, as well as eight private sector participants from Dongtan City Hospital, the Hwaseong branch of the National Health Insurance Service, and Hyupsung University. The city plans to hold an expert advisory meeting at the end of this month and then develop the integrated care model and pilot project plan by November, followed by a final report meeting.
Shin Hyun-joo, Director of Hwaseong City's Welfare Bureau, said, "We will prepare policies for the development of the Hwaseong-type integrated care model reflecting the local characteristics of Hwaseong City and the diverse needs of its citizens."
