Model Management Complex Award and Plaque Presented
Daegu City announced on the 24th that it has selected "Daewoo Trump World Suseong" in Suseong-gu as the exemplary apartment complex for 2024. The exemplary management complex is chosen to serve as a model for harmony and communication in modern apartment communities, which often face division and disconnection due to issues such as noise between floors, conflicts between residents' representative councils, and management entities.
The selection process involves a committee of experts in apartment management from Daegu City, who evaluate complexes that have demonstrated exemplary management over the past year (from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024).
Daegu City selected "Daewoo Trump World Suseong" in Suseong-gu as the top complex, as it received the highest evaluations in five categories: general management, facility safety and maintenance, community revitalization, recycling and energy saving, and best practices.
The "Daewoo Trump World Suseong" apartment, located in Dusan-dong, Suseong-gu, was recognized for its high completion rate of ethics training by the residents' representative council and its transparent disclosure of council resolutions (general management category), as well as for securing necessary budgets for building safety inspections and disaster prevention (facility safety and maintenance category).
Additionally, the complex organizes cleanup activities around the apartment and Beomeocheon on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, and has planted cosmos flower fields and potted plants along Beomeocheon according to the season.
The complex also received high marks in the community revitalization category for strengthening community spirit through events such as releasing loaches into Beomeocheon and distributing flowers on Parents' Day, and for expanding these activities beyond the apartment to the local community.
Daegu City plans to award a plaque and a commemorative plate to the selected complex and recommend it as a candidate for the "Outstanding Apartment Management Complex" program promoted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. The complex will also be given priority selection as the top complex in next year’s Daegu City "Apartment Community Revitalization Project."
Kim Myungsoo, head of Daegu City's Housing Division, said, "The exemplary apartment complex selected this year is the result of joint efforts by residents’ representatives, management entities and staff, and residents to encourage transparent management, communication among neighbors, and harmony. We hope that such exemplary cases will help establish a culture of mutual trust in apartment living throughout Daegu City."
