Gyeonggi-do Seeks Agencies to Manage 770 Cultural Heritage Sites Gyeonggi Provincial Government

Gyeonggi Province is recruiting a consignment agency to operate the ‘Cultural Heritage Care Project’ for the continuous preventive management of national heritage until October 11.

The Cultural Heritage Care Project aims to prevent damage to national heritage in advance and improve the viewing environment. Since its launch in 2013, it has been operating for 12 years this year.

Once selected as a consignment agency, the organization will manage 770 heritage sites, including nationally designated heritage such as Suwon Hwaseong and Gyeonggi Province-designated heritage.

The main management tasks include ▲ periodic monitoring of national heritage ▲ rapid investigation and emergency measures in case of disasters ▲ minor repairs that do not affect the preservation of national heritage ▲ environmental maintenance around national heritage sites and disaster prevention.

Eligibility requirements include public institutions, non-profit corporations, industry-academic cooperation foundations, special corporations, etc., located in Gyeonggi Province, equipped with professional personnel and capabilities that align with the purpose of operating the Cultural Heritage Care Project.

After the deadline, Gyeonggi Province will select one consignment agency through a first document screening and a second selection committee review.
