[Tomorrow's Weather] Chilly Commute, Warm Autumn Day... Beware of Large Temperature Differences

Clear and Bright... Gangwon and Jeju Occasionally Cloudy
Fine Dust Levels Nationwide at 'Good' Standard

On Tuesday (24th), clear and bright autumn weather with a large temperature difference between day and night is expected. The whole country will be mostly clear, but some areas in Gangwon and Jeju Island will have occasional clouds.

Morning temperatures will be around 15 degrees Celsius in the central region and southern inland areas, and around 10 degrees Celsius in the inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, similar to previous years. However, daytime temperatures are expected to rise above 25 degrees Celsius in most parts of the country, slightly exceeding the average temperatures of previous years. The temperature difference between day and night is forecasted to be large, around 10 to 15 degrees Celsius, especially inland, so health precautions are advised.

Fine dust levels will be 'good' nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.

On the east coast of Gangwon, the Gyeongsang region, and the coastal areas of Jeju Island, high waves caused by swell will strongly push onto sandy beaches or overflow rocks and breakwaters, so caution is needed for coastal safety accidents. Jeju Island will experience raindrops less than 0.1 mm from morning to daytime.

Sea waves will be 1.0 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea nearshore, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea nearshore. The wave heights in the outer seas (about 200 km from the coastline) are predicted to be 1.0 to 3.0 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea, and 1.0 to 2.5 meters in the South Sea.
