Youth-led Regional Revitalization... Gyeongbuk TP Hosts 'Geumho-in, Geumho-in Byeolbyeollak' Event

Awards for Outstanding Teams and Support for Patent Applications

Gyeongbuk Technopark held the first stage of the 'Kumho-eup Revitalization Project Kumho-in, Kumho-in' called 'Byeolbyeollak' on the 21st at the Green Enterprise Support Center, with around 40 participants including the five selected teams, mentors, and related officials.

On the 21st, Gyeongbuk TP took a group photo after completing the Kumho Neighbors Village Development Project at the Green Enterprise Support Center.

The event included an introduction and activity guide for the Kumho Neighbor Village Creation Project, an introduction to the youth-led Kumho-eup Revitalization Project Kumho-in, Kumho-in, team-building recreation, a special lecture by writer Park Eunha, and team mentoring sessions. The event marked the energetic start of the project and shared various cases such as collecting information on outstanding local examples.

The five selected teams will carry out activities to address local issues and propose development plans through the stages of Byeolbyeollak and Byeolbyeolthon until November, focusing on areas such as youth culture and arts revitalization, community activation, tourism product development utilizing local resources, and youth entrepreneurship using local businesses.

In addition, at the project’s achievement sharing event, outstanding teams will be selected and awarded, and support will be provided for patent applications.

Furthermore, the 'Byeolbyeolhome' program is planned to promote active exchanges between alumni and juniors from the region, where senior alumni will reunite to provide useful information and experiences to their juniors and facilitate communication.
