Pohang City's Signature Night Festival, 'Healing Feeling Pohang Cheolgil Forest Night Walk,' to Be Held on the 27th-28th
Exhibitions, Experiences, and Performances for Relaxation, Well-being, and Healing on Autumn Nights
Pohang City will host the "2024 Healing Feeling Pohang Railway Forest Night Festival" on June 27 and 28 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Pohang Railway Forest area.
This event, held under the slogan "A Sensory Resting Place Where I Exist and Life Exists," will offer a variety of programs blending culture, nature, and relaxation, providing healing and leisure to local residents and visitors to the Railway Forest.
The festival will feature 19 diverse exhibitions, hands-on experiences, and performances, including the "Healing Feeling Music Appreciation Night" with popular singers Woody and Gilgu Bonggu, as well as a flea market and stamp tour with citizen participation.
In particular, this year's event has been postponed by one month compared to previous years due to the continued heatwave and tropical nights, in order to ensure a safer and more comfortable environment.
Since the festival will be held in autumn, there will be a focus on "rest" and "well-being" content, such as "Healing Yoga" sessions with professional instructors, the "Forest Rest Area Outdoor Library" for book lovers, and the "Railway Forest Film Festival" for families to enjoy together.
Additionally, unique and captivating performances such as a musical gala show, "World of Dance," and "Show Choir" will provide special entertainment for citizens and tourists alike.
Park Sangjin, Head of the Tourism Convention City Promotion Headquarters, said, "Pohang Railway Forest, which connects the central axis of Pohang's downtown, is a beloved, lifestyle-oriented healing tourist destination for everyone. This festival will offer a variety of programs filled with rest and unique elements where families, friends, and couples can enjoy the charm and romance of autumn nights. We hope for the active interest and participation of our citizens."
