Shin Tae-sook, the head of Hwanggeum Hope Village, announced on the 23rd that she donated a scholarship of 5 million won to the Suseong Future Education Foundation to contribute to nurturing future talents and the development of the local community.
Shin, who has served as the president of the Hwanggeum 2-dong Village Gardeners and vice-chairperson of the Hwanggeum 2-dong Residents’ Self-Governing Committee, has been actively involved in various activities for the community.

Shin Tae-sook, who shares the joy of regular donations with her family and takes the lead in scholarship projects, has been supporting the Suseong Future Education Foundation for four consecutive years.
Shin Tae-sook said, “I donate scholarships every year with the hope that it will help students who are facing financial difficulties,” and added, “I hope this can be of some help, however small, for our students to achieve their dreams.”
Kim Dae-kwon, chairman of the Suseong Future Education Foundation, said, “Thank you for donating scholarships to nurture local talents,” and added, “We will use them with care so that students can become even more outstanding individuals.”
Jeon Jeong-soong, CEO of Jauber Co., Ltd., also donated a scholarship of 5 million won to the Suseong Future Education Foundation to foster future talents and strengthen the competitiveness of local education.
Last year, Jeon received the 34th Suseong District Citizen Award in the social service category and was selected as the 214th member of the Daegu Honor Society and the 10th Daegu Nanum Leader, among other contributions to the community.
Jeon Jeong-soong said, “I decided to donate a scholarship to help nurture future talents,” and added, “I hope students will grow into excellent individuals needed by society, with dreams and hope.”
